Pizza is one of the best foods known to man, so let's make it at home! This recipe includes pan pizza, homemade pizza dough, and pizza sauce. Try this recipe when you have a lot of time since the pizza dough has to set. The wait is very much worth it. These recipes make 4 whole pizzas that are delicious and customizable!

Pan Pizza

This pan pizza recipe is extremely delicious. Also, it is very easy! I used pepperoni on my pizza, but you can add any toppings! The mozzarella cheese is the best cheese for pizza, but again you can add whatever cheese pleases you. I made a homemade pizza dough(shown below) that was perfect for making a large pizza. The pizza sauce (shown below) was also really good for this recipe. The main thing to take away from this recipe is how to make the pizza but more importantly how to cook it in the oven. It is super cheesy, saucy, and crispy!

Homemade Pizza Dough

Pizza dough seems very intimidating to try and make. But I promise you, it isn't. The only downfall is the time it takes to make it. The process is actually very easy with it only be 4 ingredients. As long as you follow the instructions, you can do this! Pizza dough from the store is fine too, but the feeling of accomplishment from knowing you made your pizza dough from scratch is worth the effort. This recipe makes enough for 4 pizzas. The pan I used is a 10x15 inch, so they are pretty big. The extra three balls of dough can be placed onto sheets of plastic wrap, wrapped up, and all be put into a freezer bag. You can keep the dough in the fridge for around a week, but in the freezer for a few months. If you have a bunch of people to feed then go ahead and make all your pizzas now!

Pizza Sauce

Pizza sauce is really easy to make, with only a few ingredients and a couple of steps. The tomatoes can be substituted for a different kind but I like using San Marzano Tomatoes the best. Tomato paste is very important for this recipe as it helps thicken the sauce and bring out a richer tomato flavor. Buy a tube of tomato paste so you can keep using it in other recipes. The spices I used would be the ones I recommend, but you can also add garlic salt, and basil. You can also use Emily's Tomato Sauce!

This pan pizza is so good you will want more, so maybe you should make two pizzas. Growing up, my grandparents would take me to the beach in, New Jersey, every summer. It was my favorite place to be. We would get that good ole New Jersey pizza almost every single night, without getting sick of it! This pizza recipe brings me back to those trips. I love thin crust pizza, the kind that is so thin, it barely holds your sauce, cheese, and toppings. But it still has a crunch in every bite from that crispy crust. Having them be a little greasy too. That will always be my #1 choice in pizza no matter where I am. So take a trip to New Jersey to grab yourself a slice, or if you can't, then make this easy and yummy pizza recipe at home!
